Chelsea defender Axel Disasi says Enzo Maresca is to thank for the Blues' recent fine run of form.
"It is because of the ideas of the coach and the tactics," Disasi explained to Chelsea's official website in an interview published on Thursday.
"In training, we all train on the same system and all on the same tactics, so every player knows what they have to do in their position," the Frenchman said.
Maresca's Chelsea have won five of their last seven games in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and conceding just five.
It's a run of form that has seen the Blues jump up into fifth in the Premier League table, just three points off the summit, as well as progress in both the Europa Conference League and Carabao Cup.
"The relationship with the coach is good and every player knows what they have to do," Disasi, who captained Chelsea for the first time in Tuesday's 5-0 victory over Barrow, said. "The tactics are clear and we have had good results so everything is going well."
"The way we play shows the quality of all the players because the idea is to put the player in the best position to perform and to be good," he added. "So we have done this during the last few games and I hope that we will continue like this."
Soaring Seagulls
Up next for Chelsea is Brighton, whom they welcome to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Seagulls are just two places below Chelsea in the table and are yet to be beaten this season under new boss Fabian Hurzeler, who at just 31 years old is the youngest head coach in Premier League history.
Disasi said he expects Brighton to be a "very hard team to beat."
"They have already beaten teams like Manchester United so we know it will be a tough challenge for us but the way that we have performed in these last games, we are confident going into this match," he said.
Chelsea versus Brighton kicks off at 3 p.m. (BST).
