Christopher Nkunku wont' be leaving Chelsea anytime soon.
That's according to Football Insider, who on Tuesday reported that the Blues aren't open to offers for the Frenchman, despite his limited game time this season.
Nkunku, who signed for Chelsea from RB Leipzig in a £52 million move back in 2023, has played just 126 minutes of Premier League football this season, starting just one match, with manager Enzo Maresca preferring Nicolas Jackson as his main striker.
Football Insider reported that a number of clubs, including Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain, are now monitoring Nkunku's situation amid his lack of top flight minutes.
The publication said, however, that Maresca wants to keep the 26-year-old at Stamford Bridge and sees him as a "key part of his plans moving forward."
Nkunku himself was recently forced to shut down rumours that he could soon be PSG bound.
Speaking with Telefoot about the links with PSG over the international break, Nkunku said: “PSG remains a big club, but there has not been one approach.”
Nkunku remains a key figure for Chelsea and France
Although he's struggled for minutes in the Premier League, Nkunku has been a nailed-on starter for Chelsea in their other competitions this term, starting all four of the Blues' games in the Europa Conference League and EFL Cup.
He's taken his chances with both hands, scoring six goals, which, when added to his one Premier League strike, makes him Chelsea's joint top scorer this season alongside Cole Palmer.
In October, Nkunku's good form saw him earn a recall to the France national team for the first time since June 2023.
It took him just 28 minutes to get on the scoresheet on his return for France as he hit Les Bleus' second in a 4-1 win over Israel in the UEFA Nations League.
Speaking after Nkunku's recall, Maresca said: "We are all happy. He deserves it. He is doing well with us. It’s a big day for him."
