Chelsea already have a host of striking talent at their disposal in the form of Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, and Marc Guiu.

On Tuesday, the publication reported that Chelsea are one of a number of clubs who are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush.

Marmoush, 25, is the Bundesliga's top scorer this season having scored eight goals and registered four assists in just six games, averaging a strike every 64 minutes.

Bayern Munich star Harry Kane, meanwhile, has managed five so far this term.

CaughtOffside reported that Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal are all also keeping tabs on Marmoush, with the Gunners having sent scouts to watch him play in Frankfurt's 3-3 draw with Bayern at the weekend – a game in which Marmoush scored twice.

The Egypt international would be allowed to leave Frankfurt for around £33.5 million (€40 million), according to CaughtOffside.

Who is Omar Marmoush?

Marmoush began his senior career in his home country with Wadi Degla, before moving to Wolfsburg in 2017.

He joined Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 after loan spells at St. Pauli and Stuttgart.

In his first season with the Eagles, Marmoush hit 17 goals in all competitions, including 12 in the Bundesliga as Dino Toppmoller's side finished sixth in the German top flight and qualified for the Europa League.

He's already scored over half that total this term, finding the net nine times in all competitions.

Speaking about Marmoush ahead of Frankfurt's 4-2 over Kiel at the end of September, Kiel head coach Marcel Rapp described him as a "great player" and "difficult" to play against.

Rapp also said that he expects Marmoush to leave Frankfurt.

"He'll likely be playing for other clubs," said Rapp.
