Levi Colwill has heaped huge praise on Chelsea teammates Nicolas Jackson and Moises Caicedo, describing them both as "amazing" players.
Colwill first praised Jackson in an interview with Chelsea's official website earlier this week.
The Senegal striker, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal last summer, scored a respectable 14 Premier League goals in his debut season at Stamford Bridge, but faced criticism for supposedly being wasteful in front of goal.
This term, however, he's silenced those critics having already hit six in just 10 top flight games.
"Nico is an amazing player," Colwill said. "He is still so young and his last season was his first coming into the Premier League. I thought he did amazingly with the chances he created, the goals he scored, and he does so much more for our team than people see."
"Everything thinks because he’s a striker it’s about goals, goals, goals, which you do expect, but what he brings to the team is so more than that," he explained. "He's getting better all the time."
Following Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, Colwill then shared the same sentiment about Caicedo.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder scored Chelsea's equaliser against United, firing in a superb volley just four minutes after Bruno Fernandes had given the hosts the lead.
"Moi is an amazing player and we’ve got so many of them that, when you’re struggling in a game or when you’re not scoring, they pull out that magic," Colwill said post-match.
On Caicedo's goal, he said: "It was definitely huge. You’ve got two ways to react, you either put your head down or you get on with it and try to get the equalising goal, which obviously we did."
Maresca on Caicedo: "Fantastic"
Following Caicedo's goal, and impressive display, against the Red Devils, Colwill wasn't the only one to heap praise on the Ecuador international.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca did too.
The Italian coach commended Caicedo for coming into his own this season after enduring a mixed first campaign at the Bridge following his British record £115 million transfer from Brighton in 2023.
"Moi is doing fantastic," Maresca said, adding: "Most of the time in football, one plus one is not two. Because he was so good at Brighton, that doesn’t mean that when he joins Chelsea he is automatically going to be as good as he was at Brighton."
"He needs a little bit more time to adapt. Chelsea is a big club, one of the best clubs in the world, so the impact is not easy and when players join Chelsea, it’s not so automatic," he said. "You probably need a bit of time and now Moi is showing how good he was and how good he is this year."
Caicedo said after the draw with United: "My job is just to help the team in any way I can."
